This essay will look at a selection of crafted objects that relate to Lesbians and Gay Men Support the Miners (LGSM) which are held in the LGBTQ+ history collection at Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales. Some of these are from the 1980s, and others were constructed in 2014 to coincide with the film's release. Using these objects as a site for discussion, I will focus on the intersections between public displays of activism, class politics, and collective solidarity.
