Abstract

This paper is concerned with the process of structured application of dramatherapy as a means of discovering, developing and re-learning of social identity which as such can be integrated into a clinical programme of therapy, re-habilitation or re-education.

In order for this to be effective we need to understand the nature of rôle and its relationship to the psyche, especially the ego.

Only through the realisation that man both thinks and feels in dramatic form can we appreciate the implications of dramatherapy application within the clinical framework.
