A Fast-Moving Floorshow-The Space between Acting and Thinking in Dramatherapy with Offenders

This paper was originally presented at an Arts Therapies in Prisons Seminar at Home Office Headquarters in 1996. I have presented several papers subsequently but this is the only one written for an arts therapies audience and I feel that the difficulties and doubts I describe still hold true for dramatherapists beginning work in such an environment.
