Abstract

A conversation between acclaimed American short story writer and novelist Diane Cook and writer A. J. Ashworth, focusing in particular on the ecological elements in Cook’s writing in her debut collection Cook also discusses the apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic in her fiction, writing about aftermaths, her own experiences with nature and the environment, as well as some of her influences.
