Abstract

This study aims to analyse the process of discursive articulation of narrative in and by Tahar Ben Jelloun. Our method of analysis, the literary pragmatics, integrates the enunciation, the social, political and cultural environment to the of writing. The extension of the concept of allowed us to study the discursive reference, the enunciation scenes, and the symbols that abound in the two novels. These are the elements that determine, in our opinion, the anti-realistic character of narratives and they manifest by the multiple factors that create the tension in Ben Jelloun's writing.
