Abstract

This editorial begins with a depiction of the landscape of early childhood music education in the United States and a call for the profession to seek a more cohesive whole. Like this landscape, the contents of this issue of the () reflect varied approaches, contexts and settings. The issue is comprised of three parts: original research reports, content from the 2024 Early Childhood Music & Movement Association’s (ECMMA) international convention and a book review.
