Abstract

The authors, both art therapists, reflect on their experience with the Walking Studio during a workshop experience facilitated by Pamela Whitaker in July 2024 at the University of Hertfordshire (United Kingdom). This visual essay describes their shared experiences, which included moments of self-discovery, self-awareness, personal transformation and the challenging of their assumptions. The workshop encouraged them to move out of their comfort zones and offered them fresh perspectives on the world around them.
