Abstract
Abstract
This article is an annotated response to the group discussions that occurred during the installation and exhibition of ‘Impermanent Durations: On Painting and Time’, held at LASALLE’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) Singapore in June 2016. The text includes an edited transcript of a panel discussion at the ICA Singapore, chaired by Guo-Liang Tan. This is supplemented by issues raised during the floor talk, chaired by Claire Watson at the second iteration of the project, which was exhibited at the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, Melbourne (BHAC) in August 2016.
