Abstract
<![CDATA[By comparing movies such as Rosetta from the Dardenne brothers and The Wrestler from Darren Aronofsky, this article analyses how both films use similar unconventional diegetic and cinematographic techniques in order to explore how characters living at the margin of society are trying to reach a state of homeostasis and get out of their state of crisis.]]>
