Abstract

This editorial gives brief overviews of the focus of each of the articles in issue 17.2 and positions them in relation to writing in creative practice. This issue explores a range of very interesting and controversial areas: the introduction and acceptance of artificial intelligence (AI) within higher education art and design writing practices; the impact of writing within costume design practices; the use of writing in Robert Smithson’s work; Nomadic writing; a review of a festival in an exploratory form; and hidden poetic practice. There is also a book review or of João B. Ferreira’s (2024).
