Abstract

In this e-mail interview from April 2016, London-based performer, writer, curator and editor Bjørk GL speaks about the difference between political art and the aestheticization of politics, the HYSTERIA collective’s radical feminist and editorial politics, its growing international membership and the ways in which her fellow ‘lovely hysterics’ have been encouraging her to push the boundaries of her own performative explorations of abjection, incivility, discomfort, complicity, violence and other ways of destroying the meanings inscribed into the feminine body.
