Abstract

Mandić is a trademark of the nongovernmental scene, the national theatre and, last but not least, himself, writes Zala Dobovšek. The fact that Marko Mandić acts as an institution in his own right is clearly shown in another co-production between a nongovernmental organisation and the central national theatre, where, in an intersection of his two production allies, his figure is set in a space that is not really the former (nongovernmental) and much less the latter (institutional), but establishes a new locality that does not relate the key references to space, but introduces them from a previous performance, Mandić Stroj (2011).
