Indigenous Audiovisual Collections (and Shared) Stewardship

Film curators now find ourselves involved in urgent conversations within our organizations on how to digitize media and make holdings accessible to communities, which leads us to think about the archive and its limitations. How do we disrupt and reset structural imbalances, within existing institutional frameworks? I present some anchoring questions and give a sense of new collaborations under the terms of shared stewardship.
