Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, an early pioneer of transnational television

In this article I present Narciso Ibáñez Serrador as a pioneer of what may be labelled today as ‘global television’. An actor, writer and director, he first worked intensively in Argentine television and in Spain, remaking his own series for both countries, winning more than a dozen prizes at television festivals with innovative plays and selling the rights of the enormously successful Un, dos, tres[…] for national adaptations in four European countries.
