Abstract

The Section 1 to the Special Issue ‘Knowledge and data transparency across creative visual education: Practice, research and policy’ stems from an ongoing collaborative effort for better connection and communication in art education research to elicit more effective dialogue and transparency across practice, research and policy. The issue presents six works that aim to advance knowledge rather than rediscover it, promoting a more democratic art and design education landscape.
